I fell in love with the Gibson Spotlight Special model when I was 18. I first discovered it in the “Modern Era Of The Les Paul Legacy” book and the fire was further fueled by the writings and photos by the great Mike Slubowski. I have been hooked since. I’ve owned nearly 2 dozen examples over the years and started this website to document all of them!
